About Sunny
Sunny is a Florida based actor, singer, model, director, teacher and filmmaker. Originally from Wisconsin, she moved to San Diego, California to pursue her education and acting career. She graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Theatre Performance, and shortly thereafter moved to Florida to attend the University of Florida, pursuing an MFA in Acting and working as a Teaching Fellow. Upon graduation in August of 2015, Sunny moved to Sarasota, Florida, taking a position as Acting Adjunct at Booker High School of the Visual and Performing Arts. She is also the co-owner of Jabronie Pictures, a former education board member and teacher for North Coast Repertory Theatre's Theatre School and former Associate Artistic Director of Compass Theatre and Plutonium Theatre in San Diego. Sunny has been seen in commercials throughout Wisconsin, Florida, California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, and in nationwide web-commercials. She has been in multiple independent films selected for film festivals, such as the San Diego Asian Film Festival, the Sarasota Film Festival, and the Action On Film International Film Festival in Pasadena, where she was nominated for Female Action Performer of the Year in 2010. Sunny has enjoyed being on professional stages, performing at such theatres as the La Jolla Playhouse, North Coast Repertory Theatre, New Village Arts, Ion Theatre, San Diego Lyric Opera, Urbanite Theatre and Florida Studio Theatre. She is excited to continue exploring the Florida acting and directing scene and work on new projects.

Sunny is delighted to announce that Broadway World Sarasota has awarded her the 2018 Best Actress in a Professional Play Award for her roles in Incognito at Urbanite Theatre. Incognito also won for 2018 Best Professional Play. And The Crucible, which Sunny directed in the fall of 2018 at Booker VPA Theatre, won for Best Non-Professional Play. Booker VPA Theatre also won for the 2018 Best Non-Professional Theatre.
